Cykling Stockholm’s countryside facts
Environment: We’ll cycle through a large amount of different landscapes that Stockholm’s countryside offers. Most of the cycling will take place on small countryside asphalt and gravel roads without any traffic. Depending on the day, the route will include some swedish neighborhood with fancy villas, natural environment with pine and blueberry forests, crop fields and farmlands, lake and sea sides offering beautiful views over the Stockholm archipelago.
Length: 30 to 45 km – 28 miles
Climb: 200m to 400 m – 1300 feet
Distance and climb can be adjusted on private bookings
Equipment: You’ll ride a gravel bike with the following specs: aluminium or carbon frame, carbon fiber fork, Shimano 105 group-set or similar, disc brakes, drop or flat handlebar, flat pedals (bring your own if wished), gravel tires.
Terrain: Mostly countryside roads without much traffic and gravel roads. Mostly flat terrain with short and gentle hills.

- Bike and helmet adjustment
- Short suburb train ride to Stockholm outskirt
- Riding into countryside
- Lunch in the nature
- More cycling through forest, fields…
- Swedish “fika”

- Transfer back to the office by suburb train (20-30min)
- Drop off the bikes at the base camp
- Make plans for future adventures around a beer on our terrasse
